The Alliance Française of Port Harcourt organized the exhibition “The Endless World” from June 5 to 21 to celebrate World Environment Day. Adapted from the graphic novel of the same name by J.M. Jancovici and C. Blain, the exhibition addressed themes such as energy, human impact on the environment, and proposed concrete solutions for ecological transition. The UN theme #GenerationRestoration was at the heart of the exhibition, emphasizing the importance of restoring our relationship with the Earth. Guided tours raised awareness among 180 people from partner primary and secondary schools, university French departments, and learning groups from the Alliance Française. The PVC banners from the exhibition were recycled into PVC goods to reduce its ecological impact.
This initiative is made possible by the support of the Embassy of France to Nigeria and Institut Français Paris, which provides the exhibition to its network to raise public awareness of the challenges of ecological transition.
To align with the thematic and in an effort to reduce waste, we have repurposed all the exhibition banners into accessories.
