Life in my city art festival (LIMCAF) is an annual event that commenced in 2007 to encourage artistic creativity and empower young aspiring artists in Nigeria. It is the largest annual gathering of visual artists and stakeholders in the country. The festival features exhibitions, lectures, and workshops that provide young artists with a platform to showcase their skills and discover new talents. It has also been a springboard into professionalism for many young artists.
The theme of LIMCAF 2023 is “FIX IT,” which calls for a holistic response to the unprecedented challenges that humanity is facing. The world is passing through a critical stage, and it is essential for everyone to act well and play their part in addressing these challenges.
If you are interested in participating in LIMCAF 2023, you must complete and save the form following the instructions on the official CALL FOR PARTICIPATION poster.
The festival is open to all artists who will not be more than 35 years old age on the 28th of October 2023 and who have been residing/studying/working in Nigeria for at least 5 years prior.
Completed application forms with reciept and artworks should be submitted on or before 11:59pm on May 31st, 2023, Artworks not recieved ONLINE on or before the stated date and time will not be accepted by the jury at any stage.
