Every year, French Teachers’ Day provides a special moment to honour the dedication, creativity, and passion of French teachers across Nigeria and around the world. In 2025, Alliance Française Port Harcourt embraced this celebration with music, joy, and community under the national theme:

This year’s theme highlights the unique power of music to bring people together, inspire learning, and spark creativity in the French classroom.
On Friday, November 21st, 2025, we warmly welcomed French teachers for a festive and musical afternoon dedicated to their profession.
The national theme — “Then let’s sing… in French!” — set the tone for an event filled with friendship, performances and artistic expression.
Teachers who participated in the national contest “Our Teachers Have Talent” were invited to perform or present their songs live in front of colleagues, celebrating the talent and dynamism of French educators across Nigeria.
Today and every day, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all French teachers in Nigeria.
