In partnership with Bookville World Bookstore, the Alliance Française of Port Harcourt has been delighted to host a captivating reading competition for young readers from local primary schools. This event has taken place over several key dates: October 14th, October 18th, and the grand finale on November 18th.
The competition provided an excellent platform for these young students to explore literature and showcase their reading skills. The second preliminary round, successfully concluded with several emerging winners. These talented readers have face off against the winners from the first round in the grand finale on November 18th, 2023
The primary goal of the Bookville Reading Competition is to foster a love for reading and expand the minds of the younger generation. The grand finale was a thrilling event, where the champion has receive a prestigious prize and the opportunity to learn French throughout the school year with the Alliance Française.
